Rachel Kijek-Miller of Hamburg needs a kidney transplant. She has type A blood and is listed with ECMC. Rachel is an animal lover. She enjoys cooking, entertaining and spending time with family.

David Carberry lives in Hamburg, NY. He has blood type “AB” and is waiting for a kidney transplant. He shared his story with the Kidney Connection: I grew up in Woodlawn/Blasdell in Hamburg, NY, went to Frontier High School and graduated in 1999.

John Cole of Buffalo is hoping for a kidney transplant from a living donor. He is working with the transplant center at ECMC and has type O blood. “Some folks in the community might know me through my experience in the field of special education,” John said. “I have worked as a teacher, counselor and administrator for public schools for over 40 years.”
