Brittany is Waiting for a Kidney Transplant

Brittany Empson of North Tonawanda is waiting for a kidney transplant and hoping a living donor will come forward. She is listed at ECMC and has type O blood.

"Hi I’m Brittany, I’m 25 I have type 1 diabetes and need a kidney transplant. I’ve been staying on top of my health, to hopefully get that kidney. I ended up with pneumonia in July 2020 then went septic and my kidneys failed and everyone was afraid I wouldn’t make it but here I am 5 years later still fighting and waiting.
