The Wyoming County Community Health System Dialysis Center is expanding its operating hours and will begin offering dialysis services six days a week starting Oct. 17, 2022. The center is located on the ground floor of the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mount Morris.
The move comes as the dialysis center and Livingston County seek to better serve the community through their shared services partnership. With the new hours, the clinic will be open for patient care Monday through Saturday, from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m., enabling more dialysis patients to receive their life-saving treatment locally. The expansion will now allow the center to treat 24 dialysis patients in a six day period, said Dr. Edwin Anand, medical director of the dialysis clinic.
“Our clinic has six treatment chairs and state of the art equipment,” Dr. Anand explained. “Our dialysis team of highly trained nurses, a renal dietitian, a social worker, and a nephrologist provides safe, high quality dialysis to meet the community’s health needs.”
The center is currently accepting new patients for dialysis services. For more information, call (585) 883-0608.
