Buffalo skyline was lit up for kidney month

Buffalo is known as the "City of Light" as well as the "City of Good Neighbors." Landmarks across the city were lit up in blue, yellow and green on Thursday night to call attention to kidney health.

One in eight WNY adults has been diagnosed with chronic kidney disease. We appreciate the support of the community as we raise awareness of risks to kidney health, assist neighbors with kidney disease and celebrate the healing made possible by donation and transplantation.

The Kidney Foundation of Western New York thanks the Home of the Dome and Buffalo Landmark Illumination Team (LIT) and other community partners for helping to raise awareness about kidney health.
