Barbara Breckenridge

Director of Patient Services and Community Outreach

Barbara Breckenridge received a lifesaving kidney transplant at ECMC in 1999. Since that time, Barb has worked tirelessly to providing education on kidney diseases and prevention. She provides peer counseling for dialysis patients, transplant patients and their families, and also facilitates a kidney support group at ECMC.

Barb has worked for national and regional health organizations, and served as the inaugural executive director of the Kidney Foundation of WNY. Since early 2017, she has continued to serve its mission in her role as Director of Patient Services and Community Outreach.

Barb has been recognized many times over for her selfless giving and compassionate assistance to others. She is the recipient of the St. Joseph the Worker award from the Diocese of Buffalo, the Andy Mills Community Service award from St. Martin De Porres Church, The Gift of Life award from the National Kidney Foundation, Volunteer of the Year award from Unyts, the NAACP Rufus Frasier Human Relations Award, and Women of Distinction Award from the Girl Scouts of America. Barb has participated in many US and World Transplant games and has won approximately 40 medals in track and field events.

Jeremy Morlock

Kidney Foundation Director

Prior to joining Kidney Foundation of WNY in 2017, Jeremy Morlock worked for three years in community relations at Unyts (now ConnectLife), WNY's organ, eye, tissue and community blood center.

He joined the non-profit field following a career in community journalism. Jeremy previously served as managing editor of the East Aurora Advertiser and as associate publisher of Neighbor-to-Neighbor News, Inc. During his journalism career, Morlock served on the New York Press Association's Board of Directors.  He earned a bachelor of arts in communication from the University at Buffalo.

His role includes oversight of the Kidney Foundation’s community outreach efforts, volunteer services, non-profit collaboration and other partnerships.
