The Kidney Foundation of WNY's transportation assistance program has been a lifeline for many local patients. Consistent access to dialysis is essential, but unexpected financial and transportation challenges leave patients vulnerable. Missing even one dialysis treatment is dangerous.

 

We’re arranging more rides for patients than ever before, but are still receiving new requests from patients, families and social workers. Our "Drive Hope" fundraising campaign will help provide transportation to the people who need it most.

• $25 covers the cost of a ride to a nearby dialysis center

• $70 ensures ten trips by public paratransit van

• $150 provides cab transportation for week

• $300 provides wheelchair van rides for a full week
