Thanks for making the Walk for Kidney Health a success

Walkers at the starting line of the Walk for Kidney Health

Thank you to all the walkers, runners, volunteers, sponsors and donors who helped to make the Walk for Kidney Health a success!

On Sunday, August 22, more than 260 people visited the Buffalo Outer Harbor to gather as a kidney community, support those who face kidney disease, honor organ donors and call attention to the importance of kidney health.

Thanks to our generous supporters, the 2021 Walk for Kidney Health has met its $50,000 fundraising goal!

These funds will support the Kidney Foundation of WNY and its programs in the community. We'll continue to accept donations at through Aug. 31.

We also have some special honors to share:

  • Most funds raised (team): Team Kaprove at $5,439.
  • Most funds raised (individual): Laura Oldread at $4,280.
  • Most registered team members: Atwal Eye Care at 46 people.
